The Steerage Party
"Welcome to Third Class Accommodations"
In Honor of the 97th anniversary of her maiden voyage,
R.M.S. Titanic will sail again on
Saturday, April 25th, 2009.

You have been invited to a R.M.S. Titanic themed evening on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
If you attended the last Titanic evening in April, 2007 at the James J. Hill mansion, you might recall what an opulent evening it turned out to be. With the decadently rich bill of fare paired with some of the best wines in the world! Many people said "It was a once in a life time event", and it is a truly First Class memory.
You might be asking, how does one top that? Well the answer is, you don't top it. You go under it, Steerage all the way.
We are proud to announce "The Great Steerage Party of 09".
The evening will feature the last meals served to the Third Class passengers, a far cry from the Olympic-sized First Class dinner, but still a dinner to remember with five solid courses. "Dinner" on board R.M.S. Titanic in Third Class was served in the early afternoon with a hearty "Tea" served for their evening meal. We will partake in both meals, simply adjusting the start time. "Dinner" will be served in the evening with the "Tea" served as a late night snack.
After dinner, the tables will be pushed aside to make room for Two Tap Trio, an Irish traditional music group, to perform folk songs for dancing, steerage-style. Please follow link to see the bio of this amazing group. A full cash bar will be highlighting several different beers from Germany, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland .
As if this wasn't enough entertainment, we have even more to offer! You will have a choice of purchasing your ticket for the evening in one of three different classes:
|
First Class Parlor Suite (very, very limited in number) (SOLD OUT) | |
|
First Class Stateroom | |
|
Third Class Berth. |
While the evening will be focused on celebrating the Steerage Class of life, the different class of "cabins" allows you into different portions of the evening. For example, we have a posh First Class Champagne Reception planned before dinner, which will be open to all First Class ticket holders. The First Class Lounge will feature a selection of classical music performed by Wild Hollow. Please visit their MySpace page for bio info and sample tracks.
Please see the brochure listed on the "Cabin Accommodations" page for more information.
As you are probably already starting to think about apparel, we are requesting that you dress according to your class of ticket. Please keep in mind that you may either dress according to the period customs of 1912 or you may dress in the fashions of today, just try to keep it either First Class or Third Class!
As cabin accommodations are limited in number, please contact your White Star Line representative as once.
Don't delay or you will be left out in the cold!
Mark your calendars now for Saturday, April 25th, 2009.
The evening begins sharply at 6:00 pm.
