The year is 1860.

You have just received a royal invitation to spend an evening

celebrating the annual “Twelfth Night Gala”

which is the pinnacle of the holiday season on January 9th 2010

with Her Royal Majesty, Queen Victoria, HRH The Prince Consort, Albert.

This year we are honoring Nathaniel Currier and James Merritt Ives of

Currier & Ives, the famous art firm that produced more than

seven thousand original works of art between 1834 and 1907.

The evening will start with the a gathering in the Parlour and Library

for a Reception and the Traditional Twelfth Night Cake.

Out guests of honor will be presented to H.R.M. Victoria.

At 7:00pm the Ballroom doors will open and guests will be heralded in.

Once everyone is assembled we will start our formal dance with the Grand March

To the live music of The Camptown Ladies, a quartet of very talented musicians,

Who specialize in historic music ranging from early Victorian to Rag-Time.

After the first dance set, we will promenade into the formal Dining Room

for a Full British Holiday Dinner featuring Roasted Fowl and Plum Pudding,

along with a couple of German dishes to pay homage to the Royal family.

After Dinner we will continue to dance until night turns to morning.
